2021 Ford F-250 Super Duty Lariat 4x4, finished in Black on Black.

Ford released the P558 F-Series Super Duty for the 2017 model year. Offered in a diverse selection of configurations, the truck weighed up to 350 pounds less than its predecessor, thanks in part to widespread aluminum use, a trick learned from the smaller F-150. More powerful engines, beefier four-wheel-drive hardware, and a longer list of available tech and comfort features rounded out the updates. It was replaced by the fifth-generation Super Duty for the 2023 model year.

Power comes from a 7.3-liter V8, rated at 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear or the four wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
